I'm new here and would greatly appreciate any advice to start up a vending business. I was thinking of investing $200-$300 initially to start. I just have a couple questions that need answers.
1) Which machines are most effective and where should I buy them from?
2) How much per month should I plan on making?
Thanks alot!

I run a fleet of 200 machines all of them are oak vistas. They are an all metal machine which only run 46.00 with shipping included. Its very important to keep the same type of machines. On the oaks i just rotate the heads from one location to another that way each month the same location doesnt have the same product. Go with oak manufacturing of out CA.
I have 120 locations that they all net average $21.50. Hope this helps.

Caserri, to answer your question, I will have to post a picture. I have used Seaga, and I know the difference. My friends these come from china, not the USA. thay wanted to use a brand name to promote there product. I know from one, this is not a seaga. Look at this:

Now where do Seagas come from, The US. Where do GMW come from, China. How can thay be the same Dutch Boy? Thay come from 2 different countrys.

I can get an oak machine from Oak for 46.00 with shipping included. With a stand $68. I wouldnt go with any plasticm machines if your going to get one to last get a all metal oak vista. I swear by these machines because I have used all the others before, ashland, northamerican, northwestern, beaver, all of them and the oak vistas are the way to go
Yep that is right. Not cheaper, better!

so what you are saying is that they advertise on their site that they sell the Millenia, which is the Seaga trademark name, but they really send you a cheaper product, not made by Seaga, but made in China instead?
This appears to be exactly what they are doing. It took me a minute to figure out that the GMW Millennia is not the Seaga Millennia. The old bait and switch!

Lastly, I was speaking with a local vendor here and he stated his killer combo is Peanut M&M's, Jelly Belly Gourmet gumballs, and nuts. Is it worth it to buy the premium gumballs versus the sam's club ones? Nuts, do they sale well, and don't peanut M&M's melt?!?!!?

First off dutch boy, I want you to look at your stars, how many do you have. Look at your membership, your a "newbie" I am an advanced member. How many years experience do you have? Not 9. No one agrees with you on this: "Kyle has no credibility on this forum." I sure have a heck more than you do.

why would you say that 1800vending is a NO..? is it because of the price of their machines? (what ARE the price of their machines as of August 2007???)

Way to go K.G. The only problem I ever had vending M&M was a location were I did not realize it got a lot of sun during they day. It changed the color of the M & Ms but they never melted, the only one it really affected that bad was the chocolate color. Cashews were my best sellers of all the nuts too. I have never seen a Seaga that was made in the US either.
