can the currency system be changed in vending machine to use different currencies

Sometimes. Coin changers can generally be programmed to accept Canadian coins. Bill acceptors generally cannot. MEI and maybe Coinco do make units that accept foreign currency, but units that accept U.S. currency cannot be converted as far as I know.

so what if i buy a third part bill acceptor like (Pyramid Technologies APEX Stackerless Eastern Caribbean Bill Acceptor), can i swap the bill acceptor to use my currency? is this method plausible?Sometimes.
