I have a double set up at an auto shop. There is no room for the machine in the office, trust me I looked. They have my machine set up in the sun and they only want PMM's and cashews. Do those sunscreen cards work? It is a good location and I don't want to lose it because of cracking powdery product. Thanks.

I have had the problem with them cracking as well. Even when they are not in the sun. I don't know what is up.
If you have machines with round globes I would sugggest printing M&M Peanus on a piece of paper and putting it around the outside of the globe. Maybe rub on a little sunscreen, haha, I don't know. I want an answer to this too. Post this question in my forum, I think I have a reader who probably has an answer. http://www.kickstartvending.com/forum

Oh, then there was the chocolate swirl in one of my machines because they changed the carpet the week before. So, of course, they put my machine out on the blacktop parking lot all day long while changing the carpet.
Sometimes it may be good to give an IQ test before taking a location

Thanks to all that took the time to reply. I think I'm going to try the sunscreen cards; they're only $3. It is not the machine that is the problem, it is a NW 60. It is because the guy insist on putting the machine by the garage where the guys work. This makes sense but I don't think they want their PMM's served warm with a fine colorful chocolate sauce

I've had problems before and found that it was because the location would turn the air completely off on the weekends.

Ahh, turning the AC off on the weekends. That is something I will have to ask about! Good call Eric, I never thought of that.
How many machines do yo have Eric? Maybe you would be interest in blogging your candy experiences on my forum. We have a bunch of readers and like 3 writers now. Anyway let me know.

Rob, thanks, but I had to leave the route quite a few years back.
It became a conflict of interest with other route operators that were buying vending machines from us.
Plus we have 4 kids within 7 years of one another than we homeschool; so, my wife who had been running the route at the end could not keep up any longer.
I could have hired someone, but that wasn't going to solve the first issue.
I may start a very, very small one just to teach my kids. It's so great for teaching them business principles and how to manage money!
I gave my 7 year old a machine for her birthday and need to order her business cards. She's an entreprenuer already; so it will be a blast :-)

I guess newbies do not listen.
Some newbies DO listen. Ok, NO cards. He wants PMM's and it's HIS garage. Thanks for the feedback anyway.
