I am brand new in the business and this is my first machine. It is cooling properly, the coin mech seems to be working, everything else is fine. You put money in it until the correct price is reached and hit make a selection and nothing happens on any of the selections. Where do I start on this? Thanks for your help.

First off, does the relay click into place when the vend price is reached? The relay is located on the right inside hand of the door above the coin changer. Have you put in more than the vend price, and has change been returned? Check the connections on the cherry switches on the door behind the buttons. Is everything plugged in well? Also, try this. Put in the money, then press a selection. After that, press the coin return. Is your money returned, or does nothing happen?

Thanks for the help. The current price set on the machine is 50 cents. When I put in any more than that it returns change. When I put in 50 cents the "Use Correct Change" light comes on for a second and then turns off. I did not notice the relay clicking. I unplugged the relay and plugged it back in and its the same story. By the way, in case its needed the coin mech is a Coinco Dex 9300.

CVS, once the selling price is satified by the coins you put in, the machine should not continue to accept money until the credit has been cleared. Put in .50 and try different selections first. Do not always try the same selection first. listen/look to see if the vend motors try to run or not. If they do not try to run check the credit relay to see if it stays energized.

Ok, I plugged the big relay and the coin mech into a friends DN180 and it worked properly. I also can manually trigger the vend motors by pressing the microswitches on them. Any more ideas?

Hi, i am not to familiar with dixies so this mite sound like a dumb question but just wanted to make sure you have filled colums enough.. Is "sold out" light off on selection buttons? Not sure if the dixie 240 has sold out sensors but if it does then selection wouldn't work.

Open the door of the machine. On the bottom right hand inside corner, near the door hinge, there is a power box coverd by a steel plate. Remove the steel plate, and make sure that the harnesses are connected securely together. Be sure to remove power BEFORE messing with the box.

Check to see if you have a jammed can in one of the selections

The correct change light comes on because it credits, goes off because something is cancelling credit. Check stack switches on motors for proper alignment. I'm confused? Coinco 9300 doesn't use a relay on the machine thats a dumb mech. Are you sure its a 9300 or does it say 9300 series? Check the side of the mech for correct model #.

Do the motors actually turn and drop a can when manually triggered? Do they continue to run the cycle by their self?

Hello I just bought a DNCB240 as well and it wasn't vending when I got it but I got it working by reflowing solder on the logic board in the coin mech itself. This is probably not the problem you are experiencing but I figured I would throw it out there. There is arms that the soda cans themselves will press down to tell the machine that the column has product in it. You need to have about atleast 4 cans in that column so that arm will press down. If you only load two in the arm will be up and the machine will think you are out of product but will take your money and do nothing when the button it pressed. Try loading up a column with 4-6cans and see if that fixes it. As for the use correct change light coming on and going off when the proper credits are reached, I believe mine does that as well. I can check for you if you want.
