Hi Vending Chat

I'm located in Vancouver Canada and the government decided to change the metal content in the 1.00 and 2.00 coins. So my present coinco 9300 coin mechs will not accept the new coins. And coinco is backlogged 5-6 months on reprogramming

Was looking at other options like conlux CCM5G but again it does require reprogramming but it can be done locally.

Problem is Conlux CCM5G that are 2003 and older can not be reprogramming. I called Conlux and they said to verify the coin mech has a black reprogramming plug on the coin Discriminator . Which I can not find and then I called a local vending wholesaler and they said it was in the same location as well. That some times its under the plastic. Which I can't find

Thanks for the help

Possibly someone can shed some light on this.

Cam, I am not sure what black plug they are referring to. The unit I have does not show a date on it. It looks very similar your picture. If they are refrring to the end piece of the ribbon cable, it is black. I still do not know how you would reprogram. I suggest calling either D&S Vending 800-445-8363 or VendNet 800-833-4411.
Good luck

In picture 2 on the left side of the discriminator there is square plastic piece in the middle you can remove to find out the colour of plug.
Call Brokerhouse Dist. if you have more questions.
