Hi everyone,
I'm very new to the vending machine scene. I'm running this snack machine and a vendo 480 soda machine at my work. I've had them both since Dec. virtually trouble free till now.
While I was on days off someone tried to put in a bent quarter. Needless to say it got stuck and the machine would no longer vend. I came in tonight and found this, got the quarter out, did a test vend, and there started the trouble. On the selection buttons, they all work EXCEPT the ones in the middle: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13.
I tried to do a price check to make sure, and everything registers except these. I unplugged it or a few min and plugged it in again, still no luck...and the display light is out. I have downloaded the manual but the troubleshooting doesnt cover this.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hmm...no helpers out there.
Well if this comes up for anyone again I'll answer my own question. I've never had any experience with vending machines before, and was a little skiddish about taking it a part with no guidance. In the end, necessity won out and I just did it. Everything looked fine until I complety took out the selection board. Then I found that due to someone hitting it, one of the ribbon cables got pinched and the path was very obviously broke. I replaced it, removed a bracket that caused the original incident and no more issues so far.
