I bank at Wells Fargo. They give me plastic bags to deposit quarters $500 at a time. I have a few soda and snack machines that generate some nickels and dimes - maybe $30/month. For this I have used Coinstar to get Amazon gift certificates (no fee for that).
Now if I could only find out what to do with the occasional car wash tokens and foreign coins!

I think it depends on the bank.....just ask them what they prefer.....I do business with two different banks.....one bank prefers me to roll the quarters....another bank just lets me bring a bag of loose change in and I carry it back to the coin counter for them and they run it through........no extra charge for either.....but they are small banks.
