Hello fellow venders I posted this problem about two weeks ago with no luck. I have a 480 vendo pepsi machine which I thought was a 407. Heres the problem I set the cams on 3 because its a three deep machine. All my other selections work just fine. theres just the one selection that keeps dropping two sodas then one soda. I took the motor off and tried rotating the holder 180 deg then it drops 3 sodas. I don't see anything different from this one selection then the others.

Since rotating the rotor 180 deg. drops all 3 cans at once, the rotor was already set correctly, so make sure you put the rotor back in it's original position. Your problem could be the gauge bar below the rotor set up wrong or, more likely, bent. If it's bent it will drop the front can when it's supposed to but the bent gauge bar will allow the middle can to fall at the end of the first vend cycle. In this event, the bent gauge bar, instead of holding the middle can in place waiting for the next vend, will allow the middle can to slip out resulting in a double vend. Then when a customer tries to buy this selection next, they will get a dry vend due to the missing middle can. The next vend then will properly drop the third can and the rotor will reload and wait for another vend before the problem starts over.
If the gauge bar is set up wrong, you could have it in the wrong slots front or back (it should be in the middle slot both front and back) or you could be missing the two white clips that should be located in the middle of the gauge bar.
I have parts in stock for this machine if you need any. You can PM me for information.
