We have had this machine for about two years, for the most part no issues.

 

Recently we have started having issues with change return.  Some purchased a .25 item with a dollar bill and only recieved .50 back.  I tried putting a dollar in and changing out, I only received .50.  Better yet when I used $5.00 I recieved $3.50 in quarters.

 

I have looked through the manual and troubleshooting for the machine but there are no suggestions.

Your continued problems with change payout is indicative of a worn out payout system in the coin mech as the mech isn't capable of paying out all the quarters it should.  It will need to be replaced with a rebuilt unit.  Send me a PM if you would like information on a replacement.

Most of the time just replacing the coin slides on the bottom of the unit will take care of the problem. They are cheap about $1 each. You can find them at http://www.coinvalparts.com
