Saved an old changer on its way to the scrap yard.  Works perfect - one issue that i could deal with but i plan on selling this machine so I would like it to be flawless.  The hopper slides into the machine and plugs itself in the back.  However, whatever was keeping the plug in its place on the hopper broke off/missing.  So now the plug just falls into the hopper.  I crazy glued it in place and gently slid the hopper in and it plugged itself in good.  But since you have to wiggle the hopper in alittle to get it to plug itself in (because the track isnt so smooth, I'm sure the glue wont last long when I sell it.  I just wanted to test it, and it works great, the people in my warehouse are quick to send stuff to the scrap yard and this ones getting old so the were gonna chuck it.

a long shot, but what the heck. Is there anywhere to but whatever pieces holds the plug in place on the hopper (inside and out of hopper) to keep it from falling in or out. Cant find it anywhere

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I believe that coin hopper is Japanese made and it will have to be replaced as a unit because the hopper plug is held in place by the assembled plastic hopper.

You should be able to get a replacement hopper from Standard, have you asked them?

I did some more research and found out that this model of change has a metal hopper.  The hopper harness is held in place with two retaining clips.  If the edge of the male connector on the hopper has been broken off then the clips have probably fallen loose.  Unfortunately the hopper harness will need to be replaced if the connector edge is chipped or broken off.  I have the clips and the harness if you need them.  Just let me know if you need any parts for it.
