So its been so far a week and a half and I checked out my machine. No problems yet... except the mike and ike, and hot tamales because I did not treat them. I counted up 30 dollars! To me that seems like a real good start for only around 10 days.

Thats an incredible start. However remember it's not the machine but the location. If a location is going to give you $30 in 10 days it will do that with a UTurn or a rack.

Also keep in mind that the best month for bulk sales usually occur the first month it is placed. There are exceptions to the rule though. That is why I am continully moving machines around. To take advantage of that first months wave.

Good luck to you kaiwa, here's to continued success!

thats alot, I am looking forward to getting some more machines as soon as school starts and I get some more income. Did i say that I am only 19 with a full time job and full time student, so I am really limited on time and time to think and research anything. But this site has helped a lot. I have removed the mike and ike and the hot tamales... replacing with runts and reeses.

Good for you Kaiwa! I wish I started at 19! Sometimes I feel like I have no more gas in the tank!

Not only is he all over the map in terms of products but in terms of machines as well. It really depends on what forum he's on. I've read on here that he despies Vendstar. Yet on his blog he has a link to Vendstar.com entitled "Vendstar...Cool Machines"

Which is it Kyle?

He is also all over the map in terms of experience. He has claimed on other forums that he has been vending for 6 years and 7 on others. Most recently 9 years on this forum.

which is it Kyle?

He is also all over the map in terms of how many machines he runs. Other forums, including this one, he has been seen saying he runs over 150 machines however in the post below, from another forum dated July 16, 2007, just over a month ago, he says he had only 15 machines.

Which is it Kyle?

Wait.. Passer by.

This is not true: This is a great idea for smaller towns, but at least in my city, Philadelphia PA, the place is full of large vending companies.

My town is big, and I am small, (15 machines) yet I am making it. Large Vending Companys tend to forget there machines for a wile. You catch that at the right time, you got a new location. If you are willing to try, you can be up there with the big guys!

Brian,

What brand machines do you use? I am curious. I have XYZ Vending and GMW machines. I love them! This blog helped me start my business. Thank you Brian, and I wish I could get that deal you got from E-Bay!

i had M&I, hot tamales, MMP, M&M, Skittles, Gumballs, Chiclets. Not going to add runts and reeses in replacement of M&I and hot tamales. Also planning on getting some double heads for some new car wash and tire dealers opening soon. Trying to catch the manager or boss at a good time, but they seem to never be there.

UTURN is nice for a busy place that won't allow big racks, but takes a little bit longer to take the money and add candy. So far its a great machine and I like it because it catches the eye, but i don't think i will be dealing with many of these machines in the future just because of the cost of the machines.

Guth so how many machines do you really have, and when did you start?
