That sucks, Unfortunately it is something that happens. It has happened to me although not very often. One time I even found the machine around the back of the building. The good news is that these machines are easy to replace and I would waste no time putting one back in. Just be very selective of where you place it. Ask the proprietor if, given the circumstances, he or she would allow you place the machine in a more visible location farther from the door. If that is not an option you can always consider a cable attachment to keep it grounded but that too would require approval from the management.
If the location was profitable, by all means replace it. But only once. If it happens again I would be reluctant to put another there.

I was servicing my route when I discovered at my last stop that my machine walked out the door. It kind of sucks since this was a profitable location. The location is a local bar and grill. The bartender told me she is going to see if the night crew knows of anything. I would like to keep this location, however, I would need a different spot, not too close to the door. Has anyone else had this happen and did you keep the location or just call it a bust?

I would replace the machine by the door. It usually does not happen a 2nd time.

For instance I have one location that changed owners and the machine just vanished. I don't know if I should ask to put a new one in or not?
