Hi,

I have the opportunity to purchase some NAV machines new (5 doubles for 75.00 a piece). I know the company no longer exist, however, does this reflect on the quality of the machine? Any one own one of these? Thanks

Coop

Coop,

I have several of these machines and they all perform admirably. I especially like the cash drawers. Are you looking at the metal body ones or the plastic ones? The plastic ones are a bit thin.

Also, good luck finding parts for them if you need them. I have a few members on my site looking for parts.

I hate NAV... no wonder they went out of business for breaking the franchise law and scamming a lot of people with that biz op thing...

I have NAV machines and besides the cash drawers and the fact they have a classic look to them I don't care for them too much. I do admit that servicing them is nice and fast though and changing out the coin mechs is easy. They actually sold their rights to AdvanatEdge vending after the founder and owner died of a heart attack. Good luck contacting the AdvantEdge their service has been pretty bad for me. I buy my coin mechs from the website www.gumball-machine.com. It's the same mech and I also use for my triple-heads. The NAVs are super heavy compared to the triple-heads I have. They're also not that difficult to break into. If you want a double-head then buy squared-top ones that are harder to break the tops on and negotiate your price with people selling them on craigslist.org. You should pay no more than $50-60 for used ones.
