I need a place to ship my machines to with a loading dock for best shipping price, what/who should I look up in the yellow pages? There aint nothing under 'receiver'. Most of the time id like to have the machines delivered right to the location but what about finding a dock? Thanks

I used a local vending machine refurbisher. They recieved them and then delivered for me. I pay them a $50 "dock fee" and a $50 delivery fee. You may not have a refurbisher near you, but any company that sell vending machines near you ought to be able to help you out. You could also pickup at a shipping terminal and have them set it on a trailer with the forlift (not usually worth the money saved) then you still have to get it off the trailer.

The closest vending machine reseller to me is about 5 hours away and there are no reburbishers in my area. The only thing I could think of is the fedex dock here. They use to be an account of ours untill they had the coca cola contract, so I know a guy that would let us. Though we dont do it that way

Is there a public storage warehouse near you? They may have some facilities you can use. Can any of you existing customer help you out? I have a couple that will accept the odd delivery for me.The closest vending machine reseller to me is about 5 hours away and there are no reburbishers in my area. . We have a forklift and are planning to have 2 docks on our new building. I wish I could get into the redistribution of vending machines here. Its not hard to get into it on coffee machines but it is difficult on vending. You have to have to much money to get started

We personally dont need it I was just sugestiong that our area is a bit different since its considered small. So other vendors without forklifts would have a harder time. I ahve seen HA franz bring them on pickups with a wide bed for one of the vendors.

Is their an auto parts store or car dealership in the area? I was going to have my machine shipped to a local car dealership parts dock because I know the owner and CFO who said they would gladly accept the machine and then fork it into the back of my truck. I then found out the local Saia terminal was closer than the dealership and they would fork it into my truck as well. Just find any business with a dock that would be willing to work with you, maybe set something up long-term to accept your shipments. I had the advantage of having alot of guys who could then get the machine out of my truck and onto a flat rolling cart to get it into place, getting it off the freight truck and into yours isnt the issue, its getting to the location that is hard work.
