Hello all,

I just got my first bulk candy machine located today at a hair salon @ 25% commission to the owner. Any suggestions on the best way to count the quarters? Anyone recommend a good affordable change counter?

Thanks in advance.

By hand will work fine for a LONG time. We have over 300 locations and count by hand.

Good to know, I figured it would be awkward to count by hand in front of the owner, but I guess the simpler the better.

Thanks, but I got one of those cheap coin counting tubes, fill it to a level and you know its $10 worth. I can mark it at other intervals for say 5, 2.5 , etc.

I'll give the owner his cut and then go to commerce bank, they have free coin counters and will exchange it with bills for free.

25%,.......That is pretty steep if you ask me. Are you making any money at this location? I count by hand mostly...however, my bank has a change counter at no cost.
