I'm not sure but I'm just starting and I'm using 25% commission for the business or put it in for charity. What would be a good starting point for bulk vending how many machines should I buy to start? How much should a business charge me to place a machine in their business what would be a good range?

I started with 2 triple vends (XYZ). Usually commission ranges between 10-20%. Although a lot of people like myself, use charities.

I have 153 locations and I don't pay any commissions I use charties which I give 1 for each machine. I would never pay a commission for a bulk vending machine.

My question is how did you grow your route, one machine at a time, or a few here and there, andI have 153 locations and I don't pay any commissions I use charties which I give 1 for each machine. I would never pay a commission for a bulk vending machine.
how long did it take to grow 153 locations!

It doesn't matter how many you start with. I started with 1 machine. I would suggest using a charity to start with. Many businesses are more than willing to help. Instead of offering a huge commision a charity will be happy with about $1.00/mo. Everyone will be happy.

If you have several dozen machines, you can probably make it work for you. Don't be afraid to change your business plan if needed. Increased competition in the marketplace may require you to make changes to compete.
I've placed several articles online to help vendors at vendingarticles.net if you would like to take a look. I'm constantly trying to tweak profits and learn from others too.
