Do you guys give a notice (1-2 weeks) before you pull a machine from a poor location? Most vendors around here just show up and pull the machine all at one time so nobody puts salt water in the machine. I like to give notice to the location so they can find another sucker..... I mean vendor to take my place. I was just wondering what everyone else did.

Depends on the location, if there abusive, pull it without notice. If there not, give them a fair notice.I bet if they wanted you out, they would give you a day notice, but we try to give atleast a week notice.what I have notice is that some people that call you to put machines in there location, will not tell you the correct number of employee's at there location, because they have called other Vendors in the area and typically most large vendors will not go in an account with less than a 100 employee's, so my advice to you( to save all that moving in and out) is to go check it out first, walk around, ask questions, talk to other employee's and see how many people actually works there, this my friend I learned the hard way.

The company I work for tends to give notice, and the amount of time depends on the reason. One reason behind it is the customer may not be profitable now, but, in the future they may expand and you might want to leave them a reason to request your services down the line.

I would give them a notice two weeks in advance, just like when a person is leaving a job the polite thing to do is put in your two week notice.
