Hi Everyone,

Subject: U-Turn metal/plastic coin mechanisms

I bought a bunch of U-Turn vending machines that came with plastic coin mechanisms. Little did I know at the time but these plastic coin mechanisms are really really unreliable.

I have discovered;

1. Coins get stuck all the time....which leads to reduced sales and annoyed customers

2. People have found ways to 'steal' from the machine by jamming objects into the mech. This allows the machine to vend 'free lollies'.

3. The plastic shute cover is easily broken by kids playing around or getting annoyed with the machine.

Do people have the same problem with U-Turn plastic coin mechs as me?

What solutions have you come up with?

Do metal u-turn mechanisms exist and does it solve a lot of these problems?
