Need more info. Are you talking about drink, snack, food? Where will they be located?

Are you just starting out? How much money do you have to spend? Do you need bottle or can machines? What type of locations are they going on? Give us more info so we know what you need.

1) Yes I am just starting out.
2) I would like to keep spending under $2500
3) Bottle or Can will suffice
4) Locations range from 10 person business to schools.

I would not pick up a location with less than 30 people and I wouldn't buy anything brand new because your return on investment will take too long to pay off your machine. Look for a location to pay off your machine in around one year or less so you can start making enough profit to buy your next machine. You should start looking for a used machine for around $800 - $1000 and try just cans because they are cheaper to start with, cause less jams, and are easier and smaller to transport.

I agree with all of what C&J said, but I will add, Find a location first then determine what machine you need.

I have heard recently that the bottlers are really raising their eyebrows about the cost of aluminum and there seems to be serious consideration to not packaging soda in cans any more. They are reportedly paying 4 cents a can now and they feel it's too high. Anybody hearing anything about the possibility of cans being phased out?
