So im a University student who is looking to try out an entrepreneurial vending venture in Australia. I have a question that I believe anyone in the industry could probably answer..
Basically, my concept involves having a majority of the chocolate selection sizes / spirals, and only a few chip spirals. Most machines have more chip selections that I require, and it's normally not a problem for the conventional product lines, but in my case its quite important to be able to change them.
I'm wondering if it is possible to change these chip spirals to chocolate spirals, and how difficult is it?? I understand that this would probably depend on the machine, but I'm looking to buy my prototype machine now and a lot of owners arent really sure if they are interchangeable because they have never needed too.
Does anyone have any info regarding this? Any assistance would be muchly appreciated!
Kind regards,
Hassan

Why are you changing the sprials, to hold more product per lane? Any snack machine worth buying has a shim kit which will pervent the candy from falling over. You can buy different size spirals, and you can probably configure your row for 5 or 9 or just buy a new 8/10 candy tray. AP, ROWE or CRANE/National will do it.
