I am purchasing a used DN 501 and need to vend full size Gatorade bottles. they do not seem to vend properly as they seem to be jamming. the guy setting it up for me says the bottle is too wide to vend properly. That doesnt make sense to me. Can anyone tell me if Gatorade works with a DN 501?

What size bottle is the Gatorade "full size"?

Hello..
From personal experience. I've noticed that Gatorade (and for that mater any item that isn't carbonated) doesn't sit to well in any vending machine (starts to lean and sag)
except for a Bevmax or similar. With non-carbonated items I generally try to do half loads as I notice the higher the load goes the more akward the product sits.

I had a guy come in and set my 501 up for 16.9 sodas, 15.2 OJ, and 20 oz gatorade. He did remove the little tabs on the bottom (with pliers like you were extracting a tooth) . He said they will mess up gatorade vends. try that. And if you're doing 32 oz, check with Dixie Narco to see if it's possible.
