I'm new to the vending business, but I think a soda machine would do great if we placed it in your store. I'd be willing to pay you a commission to set it up here, say __%. It costs you absolutely nothing, I take care of it and make sure its full of soda, every week, there is nothing you have to do.
Can I bring the machine in on Monday?
Thank you
I have the basic idea and a very good location of a possible store in which i would like to place a vending machine. What methods should i go about in asking the owner or person in charge to allow me to put in a machine, also since i am very new to this business i would like to know what type of royalties would i have to pay towards the owner, or whats the usual deal to allow a machine in their store. Thank you very much and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the quick response, based on your response what would be a ideal commision to give to the business owner. Addionally you said it would'nt cost the owner anything but if i place a soda machine into the business it would affect the electric bill, am i correct. So is the commision to pay for that or for the oppurtunity to take a space inside of their store. Thank you again

Would the machines you want to put in be for the employees of the store or for the customers of the store?
If for the employees I would not even mention commissions unless the owner asked.
If for customers then I would offer commissions.
Other than that Agee's response would be perfect.
Make sure you have a positive attitude and a professional appearance.

I wouldnt lead with commision. Try to sell the account on the convenience of having the machines there. Pull the commision card as a last resort. Make sure you have some nice brochures that you can give them so you look like a professional company and you can take care of them.
