On my machine the 2 belts inside the dollar excepter are destroyed. Can you just buy new ones and put them in? Anyone know where to get them? In the phone book there is a vending machine repair place but its a long drive.

What type of validator do you have. You should be able to change the belts on most of your vals.

You can change most lower belts out without tools. upper belts on the bill stacker are a little more difficult but doable. We get our belts from Vendors exchange www.veii.com 1-800-321-2311 You will need to know the manufacturer and model number.

Good Luck

MARS and COINCO are the two largest dollar bill validator and coin mech companies.

Call and see if you can order the part....if not check the internet....or maybe even a 3rd party vendor would sell the belts to you.

In the phone book there was only one place listed under parts for vending machines. I called them and some pissed off woman picks up and I asked if they sold parts for vending machines. She just yells NO, I dont know what her problem is. Maybe she has alot of calls for people wanting vending machine parts. Maybe she shouldnt have her number listed under vending machine parts.
