I have a location where the customers requested Coke rather than Pepsi. Here in Central PA, Coke is more expensive, at $0.31 per can, than Pepsi at $0.25 per can. Is Coke more expensive everywhere?
Yes, I have noticed that too... coke products are more expensive on the eastern shore... DC to NY (dont know about other regions)

Same here in southern ohio. I do not know what is going on with coke. I keep reading that they are losing market share. So instead of holding the price and giving their vendors some good deals they raise the price and cut back on deliveries. On 20 oz bottles my coke price is $2.00 more a case than pepsi. I have some locations that I have pepsi and coke machines side by side and even though I did not want to we had to raise the price on the coke machine. I called my coke rep to let him know. I can hear the MBA that came up with this plan now. " We are not selling as much as we use to so lets raise the price and tick off the people selling our product. But our gross profit numbers will be good and I will get my bonus"I have a location where the customers requested Coke rather than Pepsi.
