I am looking for a coin validator for the G620 snack combo machines made by Genesis. Genesis coin validators are breaking down every day on our machines. Customers are leaving nasty notes on the machines. Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes coin validators that would work in the G620 machines? Need to find validators that are dependable. Genesis sends you refurbished validators and they break down in 2 weeks. Constantly losing money for at least 5 days until you receive another refurbished one.

What hes saying is go for machines that have a good name and are well supported. When you start to grow you find that alot of brands are not reliable. Heres what we use:

Snack:
GPL(5 total)
AP(65+)
AMS(18)
USI(1)
Merchant 6(1)

Drink:
Royal(90% of machines)
Vendo
Dixie
USI(1)

I use to love AP until Crane bought them, now I cant stand the quality of the cabnit. We started carrying AMS and even though they have their problems, as all machines do, they are very well made. On the drink side we only use Royal now unless its not possible.

I lost an account 3 years ago because the account decided to do their own vending. They bought some of the machines you are referring too and I have got multiple calls from that account to fix their machines. I had to start denying them because its not worth it. We had alot of problems with the validators at this account, but that was because it was a coating plant and one of the machines was within 15 feet from our machines. Even MEI validators couldn't stand up to the test. We had a few compressor burn up too over there because the dust would get on it so thick within a week.
