Hey Guys
I got a machine thats acting up. The display always says sold out and will not allow you to open the door. I have shut it down several times and reset to "zero positive" and it still says sold out-every door. I've wiggled every wire. I'm stumped.

Anyone have experience w/these machines?

New to the group, but, before turning off the main power switch rotate the turntable from the inside of the main door. Also make sure the vending doors are completly shut. Whenever I turn off the main power switch I must also "rotate to zero positive."

Anyone know what is going on when a Rowe 648 door shuts, light bulbs blink and then the display goes blank. I have to get back into the machine and reset the power switch. Thing the transformer isn't pushing enough voltage to start the lights and operate the machine?

Are you getting an error code when you go into diagnostic? Is the machine shutting down on health timer? Do you have your machine set on FIFO? Just a thought.

I doubt if it is any transformer. What power switch are you resetting? Main power switch or circuit breaker? Is the machine plugged into an extension cord?

for the 548 and 648 you have to rotate the turret at least one full turn with the service switch to reset the sold outs located on the right side of the main door looking at it from the inside
as for the 648 it should be the only thing on a 20amp breaker check voltage at the outlet it needs to be at least 110v and 105v with compressor running
extension cord is a big no no

My Rowe 548 has also just started doing this, where the lights blink and go out, the display reads out of service, but everything seems fully functional. It seems to have something to do with the door latches. The machine comes up fine when I close the main door, but when I close the little door to the coin box and electronics, it goes out of service. Any ideas how to fix it?

My machine is working fine today, i didnt get any errors from it, but just jiggled and tightened the door latch, and its working. Maybe there's a sensor connecting to the latch that could be going bad or didnt connect well enough.

My Rowe 548 has one delivery door that stopped opening. It feels like something is stuck behind it and lreventing it from sliding. Can anyone give me an idea of what it might be, or how to fix it? The panel on the inside of the door looks like it could get ugly if I start taking things apart just to look. Thanks.

THANK YOU!!! This solved my problem with my 548. Its been down for a week and I didnt know what else to try to it before I read this note about turning the turret to reset it.

My machine came on and worked great, but it was down again by the end of the day. When the door is open it seems fully functional, and when I close the small door to the coin box, it shuts down the lights but the refrigeration continues to work. I just replaced the main door interlock switch (thought that would fix it), but it's not helping. Any ideas???

Am I supposed to have the blower on all of the time on the Rowe 548? The switch inside that reads Heater/blower, I haven't had on, but I just flipped it on since i'm out of things to try, and the machine looks like it's working. How can it be good to run a heater inside a cooled unit, or am I totally mixed up?
