Hi,

I am wondering if anyone have any experience with ICT and Pyramid Bill validators and Coin mechs. How is the repute of ICT? Is it the same "made in china" crap or something reliable? How do you compare it with pyramid?

MADE IN CHINA, same stuff. Crumpled bills, it has an EXTREMELY hard time reading, even crumpled corners. The coin mechs themselves I like, no issues there, fairly reliable. Never had to send for reprogramming

Cannot offer an opinion on either mfg's coin mechs, but:

Both ICT and Pyramid DBA's are low quality and have a high fail rate in my personal experience (Amusement Vending Side).

If you can afford them, go with MARS.

Thnaks for your help. Are you talking abt the ICT or pyramid? Cuz pyramid are made in the USA (according to their website). Can you suggest me any other bill acceptors in the industry except MARS that are known for reliabitlity.
