I am trying to begin bulk vending in NY, specifically in Queens to start, but I am having a lot of trouble finding any information about what I need to do as far as getting any kind of license, registering a business name, paying taxes, etc. Can anyone provide me some direction?
Thanks!

Find an accountant who can help you register your company name in the State of NY. He or she will be able to discuss the current tax issues as well. For instance, in my state you must pay sales tax on any "non food" item. Then sit down with an attorney and set up your company. Cant remember what I spent to make my company legitimate but most likely around $1000-$1500. Money well spent.. Also, buy a basic accounting book if you dont understand accounting and learn it. This is a numbers game (as any business is) and having an understanding of how to keep track of the money going in and out is crucial to your survival. Most people wont go thru this process, therefore, they have no idea of they are making money or not. The numbers, if entered correctly, will always tell the true story..
