I have a single 501-E in front of my car lot. It was working flawlessly for quite some time and now it is acting up. What happens is this: sometimes my machine puts out the wrong product. i can unplug/plug the machine and sometimes this fixes the problem. sometimes not. is there a setting to, i suppose for lack of better terminology, move the selections around without swapping out the product id cards in the pushbuttons?

Try changing out the motor switch on the one that is coming out wrong...if you're selecting 7-up and Coke is coming out, change the Coke motor switch. It was explained to me that they sometimes get a little moisture in them causing them to activate as they're wired in-line. It has always worked for me on my 501Ts. I'm assuming the Es are going to be about the same.

Don't throw away the old switch. Keep it in your vehicle on the dashboard or somewhere warm and dry for a while. When the moisture dries out, it can be used to replace another in the future.
