For Halloween, I usually hand out vending items that haven't been selling well for me.
I have a lot of monkey head danglers I'll be giving to the kids who come my way...I don't know what possessed me to buy them.
Does anyone else do this, or do you have a better way for me to get rid of the merchandise?

What I do is make my own "general mix" and put balls, sticky items and any leftover stuff that didn't sell good together in this mix. I have a cool label for this which helps me get rid of old product. I did not have good luck with that product either.

Do you just put them in a bowl, or something else?
Capsules maybe? But that could get expensive.
I've got some sticky items too, but i don't want them to get wrecked/stuck to everything.
Maybe little bags?

Suggestions?

I got some candy necklaces and jewelry in 2inch caps. I have some other items like squishy balls that didn't do well for me. I'll be putting those into my halloween mix and giving them out at the door. I plan to uncap them and save the caps. You never know when they might come in handy later on down the road.

Good idea on saving the caps. I do this every year. The kids think they struck gold when they come by my house!
