There may or may not be a power switch depending on which machine. Sorry I'm not up on model numbers. Are the machine lights working? Is it a Merlin 3 control board. On some early models if the ballast goes out it blows the control board. If you know how to check and see if there is power to the control board and you have 24 volts then I'm going to say the board is blown. Just a nasty thought.I purchased a Royal RVCC-804-9. When I plug it in the compressoror fan is not starting, the evaporator fan is running, the front display is not coming on,there is no funtions working on the front panel ( bill acceptor, coin mech is not starting, selector button, no lights, it seems to not have power anywhere except the evaporator fan. Any advice on where to start this diagnostic check.
Thanks

The evaporator fan runs continuously and would have 110 v supplied independent of machine status. The compressor and condensor fan will be switched by the control board as would all the other items that are not working. The Flourescent may or may not be controlled by the board as well.

From what I can find on the machine, it is a G111-EVS control board. I think there may be a fuse inline from the transformer to the control board but have not had chance to check. Also can you give me instructions on where to check the 24 volt supply circuit.+1 on the 24 volt circuit.

If I remember correctly Royal has a fuse in the transformer, not inline. Check the voltage there.
