Does anyone have insurance on their bulk vending machines. I've heard a few stories about over-excited kids pulling on machines and causing them to fall on top of the child as a result. One person even said she puts a 100-pound weight at the bottom of her machines to further prevent them from tipping. I've searched around for insurance and found that not many places even offer insurance on bulk vending. I don't care about theft, but we're in America and everyone knows how sue-crazy people are now. My concern is only focused on physical damage to a human. I would hate for such an episode to happen with one of my machines. No matter how heavy or sturdy a machine is, with the right amount of gravity, it can still fall. Can anyone provide some insight on this issue. I would really appreciate it.

P.S.
The one company I found that offered insurance on bulk vending machines was so expensive that I couldn't beleive it. They wanted someting to the tune of 1,049 for 150 machines, with an additional $5 for any machines over 150. And the inusrance would cover you for twelve months. That's more than what I pay for my auto and life insurance for one year. I said, "no way."

State Farm & All State both offer vending insurance. Yet, your local agent probably doesn't know a thing about it. All State is pretty involved in vending industry.

You can get a $1M policy for around $500 a year. So, it is worth it for the peace of mind!

Thanks for the advice, but that post is pretty old and I've found another insuere that costs 350 a year for a million. I'm probably going to change next year to a compay that cost 250 a year for a mil that will replace stole machines for a $100 deductible, which my current issuere doesn't have. Thanks for the response anyway. ANd by the way, I decided against the yellow pags, it was really just a passing thought and it PASSED right on by.[
