Maybe someone can help me with this. When I close the door to my soda machine the message appears - "select another" or it says "homing". I open the door and I can see the coin mech light blinking. Would a faulty coin mech cause this issue?

When it says "homing", you probably had a motor stop out of place due to a jam or other misvend. After the motors home, it should go back to normal operation unless there is a continuing issue causing the jam or misvend.

Update - now it went from all saying select another to just three saying select another. There are no jams and it has soda in all slots.

Check to make sure you have loaded the drinks correctly, stacked the column form the correct side, spacers set correctly etc. Most machines have a loading chart on the inside of the door, models vary. The switches on the delivery motor are bad about corroding internally because of the moisture generated by the refrigeration. These are on the homing cams under the metal cover on the front of the columns. If in doubt replace them.

Does the vendor vend from the other columns? Make sure that all of the cam switches are in the valleys, if not you will have to unjam them first.
