I am still pretty new to the vending business, and would like opinions and suggestions on coin shooters, candy coin shooters, and honor boxes.

I am also new to the biz. I have just been doing some major research on everything and one thing that I found on the coinshooters is that some states consider the ones without candy a type of gambling. So be sure to double check with your particular governments or just go with the candy shooters as with every coin your customer gets product therefore no gambling concerns. I too would like any feedback on the success or not of these machines.I am still pretty new to the vending business, and would like opinions and suggestions on coin shooters, candy coin shooters, and honor boxes.

I have 35 candy coin shooter machines. I had 9 machines in one location, 6 in another and 20 in another. I was bringing in about 150 a month per location. The 9 machine and 6 machine location I was kicked out after the first month. Owners said it got in peoples way. The 20 machine location I pulled out after 3 months. I was paying the location to much commission. I had a locator find the locations for me and he suggested that I pay the location 5 dollars a month per machine. The quarters would always jam up, because people would always stick paper in the machine causing the quarters to jam. You also have to find the right time of day to collect your money from the machines. Just when they open or close. A lot of times I had to wait because people were eating at the table. Right now the machines are just sitting in my garage.
