Hi I'm new to this forum. I appreciate any advice - thanks!
I opened my soda machine to find a 1/4 inch of water collected in the tray right below the dispenser mech. I soaked up the water and haven't been back to check. Machine is the proper temp, but not sure if it was turned off accidently.
Is there anything I should be looking for or concerend with the next time I check the machine?

Sounds like thet drain is plugged. There should be a drain for that water. Check the bottm side of that tray. You should see a small hose leading to a drain pan. As that water collects down there, the heat from the compressor running as well as the fan running should evaporate that water back into the air. You may just need run a brush down through the drain to open it.

Just be careful depending on the location of the machine. there is sometimes more water than the collection tray can handle. If you unplug it,, the tray can overflow and run water all over your customer's floor. Then you'll be there with a mop cleaning up a mess.
If you can, bring a shop vac and remove as much water as possible. Then you can put the suction over the drain and suck it clean. It's a little noisy but a mess-free way of clearing the problem.
Then take the opportunity to use the shop vac to clean the dust and cobwebs off of the condensor coils because you know they are dirty by now.
