Hello all.....

Need any help I can get on this machine. We wanted a drink vending machine at the pool where I manage. Had a couple of companies over the past few years bring in machines, but they never kept them filled or serviced them. I decided to "get into the vending business" and look for them at a price I could afford. Bought the best one I saw after a month of looking. I understand the way it works, but need a manual to know how to do such things as changing the price......right now it's vending at 25 cents which needs to change first! The bill changer works and gives the right amount of change. I've searched for manuals for the models I've looked at but can never find one...DixieNarco site sucks! Found a "service" manual for ALL DNCB machines on another forum. It helps alittle. Need a manual or "tutorial"......

Amrap, here is a link to D&S Vending site which has manuals posted online. You want the SII programming manual near the bottom of the list. http://dsvendinginc....ie-manuals.aspx

Oh yea, I will. I'm not one to quit easily. Only wish I thought about this early in the summer and not when the pools will be closed in a couple of weeks! Thanks to cvending I got the link to get me on my way. A few clicks later I printed the manuals for the Bill & Coin changers! Now I know that the coin accepter sets the price. A lot of people enjoyed the 25 cent soda...hey it's a learning experience and I got the machine for peanuts. Looking forward to learning and reaping the profits...

Ed, I believe that setting the price is done through the control board on that model. I hope I gave you the right link. When you open the machine door and press the mode button, does the display got to "HD"?

Yes, the link you gave me was VERY helpfull. I printed a manual and it said the price was set thru the money accepter. The price is changed thru a set of 8 dip-switches. The bill & coin accepters are Mars. I found the namuals and printed them as well. I now have the machine filled, labels replaced and price changed to 50 cents. Looking at a DNCB276/162-5 next. I want to use it for "sports" drinks for our fitness room.

" I want to use it for "sports" drinks for our fitness room." For 50 cents? Where is this that's cheaper than wholesale.

You need to double check sizes of sports drinks most of them will not vend in that machine. Also any 16oz bottles that would fit will jam the machine. Just a thought.

The 276 machine vends at 75 cents and I don't think it can be changed. That's what we are now selling the drinks for out of a "fridge". The guy that's selling the machine says that I'm welcome to bring over different size drinks to make sure it will fit my needs.
