I have a dixie narco machine which I would like to use to dispense snapple bottles. As you've guessed I don't know much about vending machines, so I need some help selecting the correct cam for the job. (I am assuming the yellow and green piece pictured below is called a cam).
With the current cams, there seems to be two different positions I can use. One position causes the machine to dispense a bottle every 2 vending cycles, while the other dispenses two bottles per vend cycle.
How do I determine the correct cam for the stack?
Any help appreciated.

Kimbo, to me it looks like the lower picture shows that the depth of the column is only single. The back spacer needs to be adjust back so you can put 2 bottle deep in the column.

You're right, I moved that spacer forward, because frankly, I don't understand how it could only vend a single bottle if the bottles are placed 2 deep.
So are you suggesting, that if I move the spacer back and place the bottles 2 deep, the cam position which only vended a bottle every two cycles would now vend every cycle?
Edit:
I just imagined the way the dispenser moves, and now I realize why what you suggested would work. Thanks again, I feel like an idiot for not realizing that.

It looks to me as though that should be all you need to do for that column. Narrow columns will be a little different though.
I also do not see any shims at the bottom. I believe you will need them for the narrow columns.

Alright, I took a look at the machine and I think I finally understand how this stuff works--this must be vending 101. I never noticed the difference in design towards the back of the column which prevents the product from dispensing until the motor moves a little bit further.
Otherwise I tried the wide column, and it worked as you suggested.
Thanks again.
I don't suppose you sell the motor I have pictured above? I only need the disk, but from what I have seen online that's not sold separately.
