I've got a line on a used machine that I need for a motel I run, but I'll have to pick it up and transport it a couple hundred miles. If i use my pickup, I'll have to hire a forklift at boths ends of the trip; I'd prefer to use an enclosed UHaul trailer, but the door openings are only 5', and the machine is 6'. Question is - will it hurt the machine to be laid on it's back (it's a flush/enclosed back) for a few hours? I'd expect to have to adjust trays and such, but didn't know if it might hurt the compressor or something.
Thanks for any help with a noob question!
Transporting Machine?

If the machine has a compressor in it, you will need to have it placed upright for 24 hrs before plugging it in. The oil in compressor needs to settle/drain back down before running.
