Hello....I need someone to repair a vintage Dixie Narco machine in a private home in the metro Atlanta area. Great job for retired person, moonlighter, weekend job....I know the basic problem is money fall through and refrig is not doing right...May be a fuse? We love our machine and it has been a great amusement to the neighborhood kids all these years! Thanks...L. Ford

Money dropping through on an older DN may indicate a can jam. Remove the cover over the motors and look to see if they all appear the same. On some older machines, when a can jams, a small lever lever kicks out. If you see that on one of the motors try pushing it back in. If it kicks out again, right away, you likely have a jam. UNPLUG the machine and unload the column to free the jam. Re-load, plug the machine and depress the lever. It should stay in.
As for the cooloing problem, try keeping an eye open for a refrigeration tech driving around. If you can find one see if he'll do some work on the side.
