Hi guys- I have an API 121 snack vending machine. Typically, when I shut the door on the machine I get a banner that says "have a nice day" and the machine will accept your money and let you choose an item. The have a nice day banner is now blinking and resetting and blinking again. The machine will accept a dollar bill but it immediately returns the dollar in the form of change and will not let you choose an item. I have unplugged the machine and also unplugged the coin mechanism. What do you think the problem is? Thanks for your help in advance.

It sounds like you have lost all prices in the machine. Check by pressing any selections before you put money in and if they come up zero then you need to reprice the machine. This can happen if the battery fails on the logic board and then you have a power failure to the machine. If you need a battery for it you can PM me and I can ship one to you, if you haven't fixed it by now.
