Had a Old Pepsi machine given to me recently. What do you think?
Had R-12 at the factory but It has been converted to R-134a but it has a compressor issue.
Model: DNCB 240/138-6

It depends, what are you going to use it for and what is the compressor issue?

Doesn't look like it has a validator? Could be an issue if you're planning on placing it for public use.

When plugged in, everything will start up but the compressor will not. It sits there and clicks like it wants to start.

r134aheat transfer performance better than the R12 which can help the amount of refrigerant greatly reduced. I think you have great machine and your purpose can be fulfilled by this vending machine.

Got to figure out the compressor issue first.

If it just sits there and clicks, it is very likely that the compressor is shot.

yes i run a repair company and i see this problem too often, once the compressors clicks it is done, best thing you can do is change the compressor for another one, you can leave the unit as it is as long as it is not leaking. you have a good looking machine there and it would be perfect for what you plan on doing.

I had a Friend come over and he said that the compressor is gone and locating one for this model is next to impossible.
So I decided to scrap it. I did keep the Pepsi Logo and other parts I plan to put on Ebay.
