Does anyone have any input? I am going to look at a used one next week. I have a few vendo machine and Dixie but don't know much about these? I hear that they are not in business anymore. Does anyone still have parts for them? This is a newer model from what I am told.

THe last one I saw was about 30 years old and I had a really hard time fixing it. I do free lance(fixing up machines that arnt ours) for accounts that we deliver too and some guy just bought one. The compressor is inverted so I had to mix parts to get a blade to fit the fan right. Also the shoot and the buttons were a little differnt. The motors were socketed and they were pretty much proprietary. All in all I dont think they have been in buss for a long time and it was hard for my to get the machine to work and I have alot of junked out machines, in our yard, for parts.

Cavalier has been out of business for several years, so I would not mess with it. You may be getting this machine cheap and it may still look good but if you put it on location and something goes wrong and you can't find parts, although there are some still around, it will end up costing you more in time, customer satisfaction, labor and fuel expense to replace it. IMO you are better off to get a refurbed Dixie Narco and put on site so you can concentrate more on your core business.. This is just my opinion.
