Don't know positively ..... But without the drop sensor the selection will drop more than one can, therefore sales meter will not be correct. My thoughts.Hi very new in vending business here would like to check whether will the sales meter be correct if the machine has a faulty drop sensor?

This depends on the machine. If this is a snack, then most, if not all, snacks can have this feature turned off. If it is off then it is possible that the sales meters are correct. If this is a Royal 660 GIII, then you will be off. If vending bottles, one column tied to one button then the machine will vend one time, stop and listen thenvend again one time and stop vending that selection until the door is opened and closed again. You will be off two bottles because it didnt hear either one. If you have two columns tied to the button it will vend two times out of each before putting that selection "Sold out". Your count will be four short.
