I am thinking of starting a vending route (4-5 soda + snack machines) and the first question that came to my mind was that should I register the business and obtain a Federal Tax Id first or go ahead buy the machines and get started before registering? If the Fedaral Tax Id is to be accquired first, then what happens if things don't fly and the business isn't profitable at the first place?
Any comments at all, especially from small vending operators will be of greatly appreciated.
