Eddie Bauer Vending.com is not as advertised........I encountered the site after searching for days for a different locator...a legal locator....
The website sounded good...There were fine print I did not understand....I called the 1800 number...a person answered..seemed sincere....so I continued asking him questions...seemed to only answer my questions and not ask me anything...When he said he was not as rigid as other locators I became intriqued..I believe his name is Eddie Bauer........
I said I did not have the machine but I will be buying a machine...he seemed reluctant to place one machine....but said he would...I said it sounded good and I will call him if I have more questions....he referred to a site where there are vending machine chat rooms......the red flag was there was no guarantee on his placements and he seemed nervous to answer straight on how many confirmations he receives from the locations...
I wondered if it was legitimate when I went on the website and Eddie Bauer advertised his website on there with one other locator advertisment....the red flag was the blogs seemed bias for Eddie Bauer....saying Eddie Bauer is the best.....when I asked a question on the blog..most of my topics were deleted.....nothing wrong with my questions....Eddie Bauer was online...and I asked Eddie more questions back and forth..about vending.....the red flag is a lot of blogs for example one on this site and a number on the vending room Eddie advertises on show Eddie changing up his guidelines for placing machines and pricing....shady
When I went on the website a few days later..Eddie was online...I was impressed with how quickly Eddie responds to e mails on the blog...although when I called earlier at the same number no one was there....I asked Eddie more questions about vending...at one stage I said I was trying to reach him and no one answered and I asked whether he works at home or an office...most locating companies charge more for other people they turn over the work to so it seemed intriguing...then Eddie did not e mail me back right away.....
Eddie started to respond like a terrible person...saying I was inpatient and demanding and he will not work for me....and my questions were not of concern... Eddie seemed to be getting very nervous.....
I tried calling Eddie the next day...wanted to ask him a question...he was reluctant to answer online.......I could barely hear his mumbling when he called back two hours later...Eddie further said he would only take my business if I wanted four machines for hundred...said he did not remember saying he would place one....
I told someone on the blog Eddie advertises on that Eddie was not too helpful and shady....Eddie responded meanly about it in further e mails on the blog...any legit business would respond positively to keep up its reputation....Eddie kept on saying I was shady...moron..retarded etc....
Eddie is wrong wrong wrong wrong...Eddie is shady retarded a moron...etc.....Eddie seemed to become more reluctant and nervous in further e mails until I decided not to get involved with this shabbiness......I would stay away from dealing with Eddie...he became very nervous when I asked him the location of his office...etc....he lies and any smart person can surmise Eddie is not a real person..........becomes very shabby when asked questions about his locating business.....the blogs on the chat line are written by Eddie...Eddie is not real to be shabby..........cautioness is the key for the blogs on the site are written by Eddie and other ones that work for him....sounds too good to be true......

Well it has been quite some time since I've posted anything here but I feel compelled to defend the integrity of my forum.

I resent the notion that you feel that VENDiscuss is somehow related to Eddie Bauer. Yes, he does advertise on my forum but VENDiscuss was founded and is owned by me. I can assure you that I am NOT Eddie Bauer nor have I ever met him in person. The reason he has a very good reputation on my forum is because he seems to produce RESULTS. I understand that he can appear to be difficult to work with at times but that is a fair trade off for receiving quality service.
Aside from your uneducated negativity towards Eddie, I am most disturbed that you have accused me of deleting your posts. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am not in favor of deleting anything. In fact, none of your posts have been deleted! Yes, I merged a few of your threads together because you took it upon yourself to spam my board with the very same question in every category. I simply moved all your posts to one easy to follow thread. That's called "efficient administration".
To anyone else reading this who is not a member of my forum, be advised that this person, Lewis as he is also known as, doesn't even own a machine. He has no clue how this business works and has been very quick to spew negativity on vending forums about something he knows very little about. Members of my forum are very intelligent and can sniff out a trouble maker very early on. They also are very quick to point these individuals out. As such, it is also my opinion that Lewis, "Pounder", is nothing more than a forum troll looking to start trouble. Take his "review" with a grain of salt.

eddie bauer does a great job, he gives you locations first and THEN you pay him. His locations beat the heck out of the national average too. It should be noted that the person who posted this message has not even done business with eddie! He is just whining because eddie wouldn't locate 1 machine because it isn't cost effective.

I was using a locator that told me she had got all the location she could in a town of 48,000 she got me 4 location..
I turned my business to Eddie he has gotten me 20 more same town..
Eddie is the best locator around his price is right and you pay after the job is finished.
The forum VENDISCUSS.COM is the best forum with people there to help out the new comers to the business
thru advice from forum members I have saved a lot of money by not making mistakes some newbies make.
Lewis is a trouble maker..
I turned my business to Eddie he has gotten me 20 more same town..
Eddie is the best locator around his price is right and you pay after the job is finished.

Really? From your vast experience with locators, you have one that doesn't cater to your every whim and you think he's shady? I'm sure you can find many many locators who will kiss your butt like you seem to want. But they will also take your money and run.

I am a full line vending locator and Eddie Bauer is one of my competitors. I can assure you he is very professional and does a great job locating. I have read the posts from this person on the other forum they become increasingly odd as he continues to twist statements.
If he wants a location for one bulk machine he needs to understand a locating company does not have the time to complete that type of order. It is not cost effective. It would be similar to ordering one French Fry at McDonalds, try asking them to cook up a new batch for that order.
