hi all

i am about to start a honor box route, i have a direct selling background, so im not shy to knock doors, my questions is, when i am restocking the boxes, do i replace the whole box, or do i just re-stock the box with my sweets

John, vendors do it both ways. But by replacing the entire box it gets you in and out of there with as little disruption as possible. You don't want to be standing in front of their counter while they are trying to wait on customers. Also, in some cases where they may be thinking of getting rid of you, out of sight really is out of mind. Then, service that box out in your truck and use it on the next account on your route.

thanks for replying

do you run an honor box route yourself? i am purchasing 200 boxes and will be retialing sweets for £1, is there anyway you can give me a guide to the revenue i should take, the sweets will be branded with a charity, i am expecting to average 4 packets of sweets a week per box, do you think this is realistic?

I have been considering the honor boxes as an addition to my bulk route. Do you service the box once a month or does it have to be more frequent? Also can you get away with just doing it as a convenience for the employees without any charity or commission if so what is the pitch, thanks so much, Scott

Hi John, What type of Honor Boxes are you operating ? are you doing the Honor Snack Boxes or the Countertop Candy Honor Boxes placed near the cash register ? I operate the lollipop Boxes here in Des Moines and also help other Vendors secure accounts for theirs as well.
