Is it possible to have the "Jones plug hack" on AND still have the coin mech on?

Hello everyone,
I have successfully done the jones plug hack on my Vendo 231-420 soda machine.
My question is, is it possible to have the hack on AND use the coin acceptor as normal at the same time?
