Hi ,i have an offer to buy 7 Genesis machines (2 full-size pop, 4 combos, 1 full-size snack), they all are on locations at a busy construction project in a big Canadian city. The contracts are good for 3 years. The machines are located near make-shift offices with great human traffic. Estimated sales weekly are 600 dollars and more (esp in the summertime). The price is 14 000 $. The question is - should I buy it or not? I am pretty sure the locations are good but I am concerned about the machines.

I went on tour of the 3 of them today and eventually lowered the price to 10000$ because the sales figures the guy quoted are overly optimistic.. Also I found out that not all of them are Genesis, just 4 of them. One is a Crane full-size snack and the other one is an MSI or something. So, I figure for 8 machines with contracts it is not too bad

I have never owned a genesis but I have to tell you I never have heard anything good about them from people who have had them. Just make sure that your future customers will honor the contracts and will not try to get out of them because of them being sold.
