Hello everyone! This is my first time here and I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I just bought a Seaga CA11 mechanical vending machine from a resale shop for 35 dollars. I know absolutely nothing about vending, but I thought this looked like a great deal. I have it set up in the employee area at my husband's work and am not looking to make tons of money, but I think I need to increase the prices. The top row is set for .75 which I think is a fair price for chips, but the bottom row is all set for .50 I currently have some Little Debbie and fruit snack items there but would like to sell some candy bars for 1.00 as well. So my question is where can I get the little coin discs to change the prices? Should I call Seaga or would a local supply company have them? Are they interchangable with other brands? I guess that's it for now, thanks!

call seaga they are probably interchangeable with other brands but you arent gonna find them locally anyway unless someone is selling another machine. they are a pain to change if they can send you instructions thats the best otherwise pay very close attention to how you take it apart because its very easy to accidently put it in backward sso the coil spins the wrong way.

in my opinion you will make more money with an honor box than this machine because few people carry around a dollar in quarters int their pocket

Thanks for the advice, I will give them a call. I have the manual already and have taken apart and put back together the machine already successfully so hopefully I won't encounter any problems getting it changed up. Luckily, the machine is used by a bunch of delivery drivers who are required to have a pocketful of quarters so that won't be an issue.

If the disc's are plastic they may already have notches in the disc for each coin. If they are metal they may or may not have the notches. Just a thought. Vend1ng
