In Topic: have you guys notice gas keep rising up?

lee, if u are increasing some snack or candy etc. are you giving notice to your clients? days or weeks? or post it to your vending machine or just just increase it not knowing them..

I will plan on informing them that I will be raising prices on some items. I have an agreement to keep prices for a year. That year is up at the end of the month. I will give them 30 day notice before I raise prices. The issue is that candy costs are 40-45 cents each. My price is currently 75 cents. I could leave prices at my current levels and live with a lower profit margin.

I would be interested to know what are others doing in these changing times.

Prices for pop at Sam's Club has not changed. I am charging .60 for pop. Candy prices have increased from .08 - .10. I am planning on increasing my candy prices to .85. My chip/snack prices are .75.

I do not want to increase my prices too much. Do not want to decrease my volume sales.

Another comment about sales tax. Remember what you collect goes to city, count and state services. I like to believe that I am doing my part.

Just my 2 cents

It might be worth just to switch to Dasani. I use Arrowhead that I buy at Sam's. I have tried the alternate method. I had a couple of them get jammed. I stack 10 high in DN 368. Max it holds is 17. I have also read that some bottlers are changing their bottle design to be more like cans.

I would also try a local company that refurbishes machines. They may have signs for sale or at least be able to tell you where they purchase them.
